Operating from Beaudesert, Queensland, Jeff runs a professional, hands-on stable where attention to detail is paramount. His training philosophy blends traditional horsemanship values with modern performance methods, ensuring each horse is physically developed, mentally relaxed, and given every opportunity to succeed.
Working closely alongside his partner, jockey Rikki Jamieson now Dunn, Jeff integrates race-day insight into every preparation. Together, they focus on building durable, competitive racehorses while delivering a transparent and rewarding ownership experience.
Facilities
Featuring 14 stables, 6 yards, and dedicated spelling facilities, providing a well-rounded environment for our horses at every stage of their preparation. Our property includes an 8-horse undercover walker, allowing for consistent conditioning regardless of weather, as well as a full-size arena used to freshen horses up and incorporate light jump work into their routine.
We are located just 8 minutes from Beaudesert racetrack, where we have regular access to the course proper for gallops, along with a high-quality all-weather surface that we utilise daily in training.
Our horses benefit from a comprehensive care and recovery program, including access to swimming facilities and a structured treatment schedule. This includes cryotherapy, equine physiotherapy, acupressure therapy, chiropractic care, and regular weekly veterinary visits.
At Jeff Dunn Racing, we place a strong emphasis on horse welfare and performance. Every horse in our care receives individual attention and a tailored program, and we believe our results on the track reflect the standard of care we provide.
